My flare for drawing is really going downhill. 4 linearts unfinished and laying around with no resolve to finish them, and then this catastrophe I only finished just to get something finished. And even with that, I rushed it like no other, going insanely half assed on the coloring and everything. The Shading is beyond unrealistic and just plain terrible. Severely unhappy with this pic, and it's of one of my fav guys too, Hwoarang. So that's even more of a shame.
I'm posting it just to have 'something' in submission. I really wish I could get my motivation back. It's bugging me a lot.
In any event, I always loved how Hwoarang sits on his opponents when he wins in Tekken 4 and 5, and in tekken 4 he seemed to have a huge bulge in his pants all the time which I loved (and was unfortunately removed in tekken 5 :/) but decided to draw him without the pants on but keeping the reason for the bulge :) sitting on top of Steve Fox aftering beating him. So I obviously kept the T4 attire on him as well to match.
It's a real shame this came out so bad. There's such a lack of full frontal Hwoarang out there, that this might have really been nice. But, oh well, hopefully future Hwoarang drawings will come out much better and do him the justice he deserves.
In any event, Here's to hoping I get myself back on track somehow and my art gets back to being 'decent' again instead of this trash :/
